You could try AA and maybe meet another alcoholic. Of course, your "lifting up" would include not drinking, and I'm pretty sure that's not on your agenda.
But, there are way too many women out there who will go for someone like you who want to use them for "intimacy" and take care of you. They are called "codies", short for codependents. They too have issues, because if they were healthy they would never take up with someone who will use them and mistreat them and who loves drinking more than he loves her, but for some inexplicable reason, they seek that out. They need crises and drama in their lives to flourish. You will probably find them in the seedier rundown bars, like a local place, not a fancy club. Or even a church. Someday she might get sick of you and dump your sorry ass, but in the meantime, you'd get what you want.
Not to sound misogynistic, like my previous identity was accused of, but I'm offering to split the bills to get intimacy and a nice warm dinner to come home to, along with having someone that can lift me up.
What a bargain. She gets to have sex with a drunken slug, share the income generation, cook the food, AND hold you up? Where do I sign!
Something tells me the OP is in love with his current tragic persona. But it is likely that the real person behind it is much more pathetic and small than the "beautiful loser" he pretends to be.
Narcissism. How boring.
This is offensive to beautiful losers such as the OP and myself.
No sane woman would be interested in dating you. You need to get your life sorted out before you start dating. I suggest you first stop drinking and save your money.
