When it comes to local multiplayer games, in my opinion Nintendo games are usually the best ones, so seeing you already own the Wii U, I´d recommend Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Mario Party 10 (though this one is best played with 4 people) and there´s a potentially interesting game called Splatoon coming out in a few days, might want to check it out.
