Unfortunately, your son will probably turn out just like his father if he has contact with him. Best thing you can do is either give him up for adoption to a healthy couple or not ever let his dad be in his life.
But..this baby was her chance to make this guy commit to her, and love her, and stop fooling around on her. This baby was her meal ticket to a guy who had money, and was handsome, etc.
How can she give that away?? You never know. The guy may change his mind and his behavior and marry her and this plan of hers will have worked just fine.
Well for a douche I actually am surprised he will support the baby. But then again, he has no money problems so not surprising.
As opposed to my husband who is not a douche meaning not sleeping around, but a major azzhole douche evil incarnate when we had pregnancy scare he wanted to terminate it immediately. And even wanted to divorce me!!!! But then again he is dirt poor so I am sure that's the reason. He did tell me he does not think he can support a child.
Major props to you too for not planning to take away the child from his father even though he is a douche.
You are right, unfortunately, he is your baby's father they both deserve to have a relationship AS IT SHOULD BE.
Wow. Just, wow. OP, I wouldn't pay attention to anything this idiot says. Best of luck to you.
Yeah, let's have even more dysfunctional single women who get tricked by manipulative, bad-boy players raising a bunch of innocent little boys to end up being just like their deadbeat dads when they grow up.
first thing you an do is get the paternity test done asap, and get the father to support his child, even if he decides to not be a part of the kids life. just because he says he will support the child doesn't mean he will. make it legal. him seeing and knowing the child will not change who he is as a person so get over that illusion.
yes, you will get over him and how he treated you. if he does decide to stick around and see the baby he will have 18 years to disappoint you and show you what kind of man he is.
There are few real accidents in life. You got what you wanted, so ENJOY.
