I have been on OLD sites and I always run into that cliche question especially when it is the very first thing they ask you aside from what your name is, "What is such a pretty lady like yourself doing single"? I wonder what are some good answers to say without sounding lame about it.

I wouldn't worry about the answer being lame as the question is just as lame.
First we need to know the REAL reason you're actually single.
There is no "real" reason, but the obvious. The relationship I had just plain didn't work out, but obviously no one accepts that. lol
