It's been quite awhile; I don't even remember the movie but during it I remember a scene where a woman found out her live-in boyfriend was cheating and in one scene the gf was shown throwing all of his stuff, clothes, photos, material possessions etc, out the window and told him he was kicked out and couldn't come back at which point my gf exclaimed "What a piece of ****, he deserved it". While a movie, I do wonder, assuming you think such a thing (throwing clothes and other personal belongings out a windows and kicking them out) is acceptable, would you think it would be acceptable in the reverse? If a man had solid proof his gf was cheating would you think it okay for him to throw/leave her stuff on the door step and kick her out?
The reason I ask is because it seems as if a man cheats it's one of the worst things anyone can do, but if a woman cheats it's all the man's fault and he should've done more.
Cheating is cheating, no matter what the reason. A cheater is hurting other people for selfish reasons. If a person isn't happy in a relationship, step up to the plate and call it quits so everyone can go about their life.

Yeah but a man can be happy with his relationship but still cheat out of biological drive. It's a bit different.
As for kicking someone out........ Even if she done the dirty on me and cheated I'd still make sure she had somewhere to go first as opposed to chucking her out on the street.

Assuming this were even true, the disrespect inherent in breaching your partner's trust would still be a factor.
Whether or not you make a case for infidelity being justifiable, the fact remains that if you cheat (versus end your relationship prior to pursuing other options), you're disrespecting your partner and abusing his or her trust. That sucks no matter your gender.
I don't agree with throwing the person out in either case and have said so in the past. If he or she lives there, the person has a right to be evicted through legal means and not be rendered homeless. Destroying someone else's property is not OK.
Cheating is bad no matter if a man or woman does it. It could cause a person to lose faith and trust in the opposite sex.
