Or... They're tired of having to run the gauntlet of guys hitting on them. There are a lot of shallow guys out there.... OP comes to mind.
One of my most beautiful friends is single and has trouble dating. She is a drop dead gorgeous Latina. Beautiful hair, beautiful skin, perfect body, smart, ambitious, kind hearted, funny....I could go one. She is a really great girl but she also has problems with dating. We were actually talking about this a few weeks ago and she was telling me that she doesn't even want to date now and just wants to focus on doing her own thing with family and friends.
Contrary to common belief, a LOT of guys don't necessarily treat beautiful women "better". You have guys that are jealous and possessive who treat beautiful women as if they property or a trophy. Or they are emotionally and mentally abusive.....even physically abusive.

Physical attractiveness just adds to the other values that a person brings to the table. If someone is attractive in the looks department, but still can't find decent people to date, that means that other things about them are subtracting from their looks.
Beautiful women who end up with guys who treat them poorly have issues around being able to choose decent guys. It's not about their looks and guys treating women who look awesome in a bad manner. It is about their choices and the guys they attract with their personalities and personal issues.
