Do men freak out when a woman ask them out?

So western women are actually not interested in any man as they don't ever take initiative to approach a man, introduce themselves, ask them out, contribute to dating expenses since the first date (drinks, dinners, entertainment, etc.), court pursue and romance, and so on? I do get that culture plays a different role in relationships and dating and that is how it usually goes in western countries but I don't understand how it can be sort of one-sided. As I woman I would feel bad to have everything revolve around me and all I had to do was just show up to the date.

If you were single I would recommend you checking out Asian countries. Saw it all the time while living there . When I was asked out I didn't see it as inappropriate. Just different from what I was accustomed.
