animal cruelty & toilet papering a house on mischief night are not at all equivalent; the former suggests some sort of pathology while the latter is a more socially acceptable prank that many kids participate in at some point.

Everbody knows you shouldn't hurt a animal (pet) but then some people don't like animals, I've known people who were not nice to their pets but treated people good. The real question is was this just one time or is it the norm?

Not liking animals & harming them are 2 different things. I can accept that some people don't like animals; but that isn't equitable to someone who exhibits a lack of empathy while callously causing pain to another living creature that will audibly and visibly react when hurt. It is totally different.

Over this past weekend, my bf and I were at a friend's house. Another mutual "friend" was there. My bf had his dog with him, and this "friend" kicked the dog over the vestibule of the sliding door when my bf wasn't looking. Not hard, but I just couldn't get over the sentiment. Granted, I don't really like this guy too much anyway, but I had to wonder what sort of person randomly does this to someone else's pet? Ick.

I couldn't have a man in my life who would be cruel to animals or even not like animals.

There are too many in my house and they aren't leaving.

A man who kicks an animal, is not a man at all. You treat your critters with the same unconditional love they give you. I have more compassion for animals then I do some people in this world.

I love animals! They dont understand what is going on. Im sure if they could speak english they wouldnt do half of the disobedient things that they do.. they are helpless. Its so sad that some people are so heartless..

people who treat their animals with disrespect may get subservience, but they will never know what it is to be loved and that is a shame for both of them. there is no better feeling than to be loved unconditionally.

When I saw this title thread, my blood started to boil before reading the first post.

Once I saw my nephew kick his dog with heavy duty work boots and I almost
attacked him! I did ask "why?" and he said something about it's the only language
he understands. Ugh! Shoot the Master!
