What's the worst, dumbest line you've ever gotten from someone who didn't have the guts to say "I'm just not that into you"? Or, along those same lines, what's the worst breakup line you've ever heard?

Mine is still this nonsensical mess that a woman said to me many years ago: "What I feel for you is love, but I would never say I love you."

I had a guy tell me that I’m “too short”. I told him that he was wrong, because he is too tall. LOL

"I really like you...as a person."

I was thrown, because I just heard the "I really like you" part, the "person" made me go ,"huh"? But I would kind of ignore it. So I would just make a move on her to be sure.

Turns out "as a person" is the same thing as "as a friend".

LOL. Yeah, it's like you get what they mean, but you want to be a smartass and come back with, "As opposed to liking me as an aphid?"

Many years ago when a date was ending, the woman told me she not only wasn't into me whatsoever, she found me rather repulsive looking and extremely unattractive.

Never know, she might get run over by a bus one day.

Gee I bet she didn’t have a problem stuffing her face with that free meal provided by a repulsive and extremely unattractive date.

The one I always love is
“You’re such a great guy” basically translates to no matter what you do you’ll never get me.

I had a date tell me after 4/5 dates that she liked me as a person. That was actually fine because I knew I didn’t need to waste my time going nowhere. Funn6 enough I ended up dating another woman who turned out to be a cousin. She liked me a lot more than as a person.

I had a guy tell me I was too needy. Every other man has said I am not needy at all.

“You have such a great heart and your smile lights up a room, but I’m just not in a place now where I can be lit up by anyone, even with your beautiful light.” Two weeks later, I find out through a friend she is back with her ex. Clearly she was full of BS.
