Yes. High school cheerleader from a nearby town said it to me, and I didn't believe her because it wasn't true...like for real, she was just messing with me. What hurt about it was a cheerleader friend of mine from our school was in on the "joke". That was a long time ago tho, and I believe it's those types of painful youth experiences that make us stronger when older.
Besides I had the last laugh. Years later after the military I ended up in college w/ the girl who was my 'friend'. She had cranked out several babies with a local loser and was grossly overweight. So much for the cheerleader fantasy! Don't know what became of the one who lied to me...maybe the same if there's any justice for awkward teenage boys everywhere...
