But when I get home all of the sudden she's hungry and starts eating off my plate and sometimes asks if she can eat half. Of course I get irritated, then she acts like I'm the bad guy for not offering some of my food.

Most of my male friends have told me that their female partners do this as well, so it doesn't just seem like my bad luck.

Have you experienced this in a relationship? Do men do this as well?

Really? I'm a female & I DON'T do this (& surely wouldn't w/o asking nor on a 1st date or anytime close) & would find it annoying too if I said I'm getting food & they don't want it then, but seem to eat 1/2 or more when the food's finally there.

I had no idea women do this a lot, but then I don't know. I'm a female myself & am n ot in contact w/ other females to know their meal dating habits.

If that seems to be happening a lot, the next time you order food & ask the lady if she wants some, I'd start saying, "Are you sure because I'm really hungry here & plan to keep some for leftovers & if you end up wanting some, there won't be enough".
