At a bar I went to last night, there was a live band where many women were dancing on the main floor. There were some couples mixed in there as well, but mostly groups of women. Then I saw a guy just dancing by himself. He also looked silly, not just b/c of his 2 left feet, but b/c of his attire. He seemed content dancing by himself.
Are women turned on, off, or don't care by guys who dance by themselves at a bar or club? I know many women like to stay in their female cliques and not get bothered by guys wanting to dry hump them from behind. I suppose a guy who wants to dance and is not getting the attention from the ladies will just go out there by himself.
if he is dancing by himself, maybe he got tired of getting regected when asking a lady to dance, and so he decided he came out to have fun and he was going for it!
am i turned on--depends on the guy
Usually men doing that are hammered and making fools of themselves- I can't say that I've ever seen a guy who looked attractive (or sober) dancing alone.
Maybe I go to the wrong places, but that's my experience.
Well, I took some classes in Capoeira a few years ago, which is a Brazilian martial art mixed with dance, so I often dance alone, simply because Capoeira, like breakdancing, is one of those dances which are better done alone. YouTube - Capoeira Mestre
If it's a dance like that, or breakdancing, than so what? When did you ever see a couple breakdancing together....if it's a slow dance, than that's just weird.

I can't say that I enjoy going to clubs and such, but I can't imagine I'd judge a guy simply because he was dancing by himself.
