Fine, yes, I love it when people fall down broken steps. I would totally selfishly run in the other direction. You have me all figured out. Congratulations. <<Hobokenkitchen wanders off muttering about annoying people who twist words under her breath>>.
I love it when you hold a mirror up to these locals, not too pleasant coming back at them I find

Btw did anyone hear me actually say no to a truce? Counsel? Geez maybe I am getting like the lawyers here

And just where in the city has she been and where has she lived and for how long and can she listen to people whether it be negative or positive?...

Can I just point out that I am not the ONLY one who likes it here.

Have you ever lived in Center City? And by CC I mean between the rivers, north of South and south of Vine?
Or Chestnut Hill? Or Art Museum? Or Queen Village? Or Old City?

Where have you lived, and where do you live now?

Richmond VA? You know when I lived in Roanoke and hadn't yet had my 'full city experience' I used to hear people say Richmond was the armpit of VA...but at this point I'd rather be in the armpit of VA than the armpit of PA

OK, now be nice! I live off of Cary Street and it is very nice here.

BUT, there are some VERY nasty places here. Actually, I was detoured through one of the armpit areas on Sunday and I was scared!

Roanoke is a nice little place. Beautiful up in the mountains!

Maybe they can meet at a cyber-cafe and have some cyber-coffee and become good cyber-friends?

Let me ask again:

Have you ever lived in Center City? And by CC I mean between the rivers, north of South and south of Vine?
Or Chestnut Hill? Or Art Museum? Or Queen Village? Or Old City?

Where have you lived, and where do you live now?

Are you saying that you have been to Rittenhouse and didn't like it? Society Hill? Old City? That you actually visited Center City and thought it was crap?

Ya know, all cities have crappy parts to them. Not just Philly. There are ALWAYS good areas and bad. I'm sorry for you that you live in the hood, but it would be the same living in the hood in a lot of other cities.

If I could hear you say SOMETHING good about it, that would help. Something really good. Mention a nice place. Somewhere you enjoy going. Go on I dare you.

I've noticed that...usually the creepy parts to the city are located in the "downtown" areas...

Maybe we should run a mediation forum on CD! If we can shrink the gap between these two, we may have a future!
