I am now married to my second tall(6'+) guy, and at 5'6'', I must say I have always been attracted more to men who are quite a bit taller than me. My dad is 6'3'', maybe thats why.

I did date a really nice looking guy who was 1-2"taller than me, which was fine with me. But it seemed to bother him when I wore heels of any kind. He kept telling me how "tall" I was and talked about how " teeny-tiny" his ex wife was. I stared feeling like giant, and I was very slim at the time.

Moral of story- I think it has to do with both people's feelings about height- if the guy seems great with it- I think it's all good. In my case I was back in my comfort zone standing on tippy toes to kiss my next boyfriend(now husband), and glad to break my high heels out again.

I'm few inches shorter than that but I just can't see myself placing those kinds of restrictions and boundaries on who I would or wouldn't date. You're really limiting yourself when you start to set standards like that and you never know who you could be mentally 'dissing' based on nothing more than a physical attribute; perhaps a potential soulmate.

When a 6-2 women says she will only date men taller than her she will not date much. I am 6ft and the vast majority of the time I am the tallest person on the elevator or my commuter bus. Men over 6-3 are not that common when you decide thats the only type person you will date. How many men in your office are over 6-3.

Height is not a deal breaker, but I do "prefer" someone taller than me. I'm 5'7". I was set up on a date with a police officer, who was only 5'4.....that really didn't trip my trigger...lol.
