I agree with this; would you be as liberal about a person's weight?

This is not specifically aimed at you, but at the ladies in general.........

See? And we women keep being accused of being materialistic when we just have good taste!

I was pretty sure it wasn't the height alone...

I don't know if it works the same way for everybody, but if I've gotten to know somebody well and like him (say in a situation like a forum) and find out what he looks like later, his looks won't matter as much, while if I were to browse pictures, I might discard him. So, I guess I'm not as shallow as I project it here.

i am not sure the preference for the type of men i described is good taste it might be. it does weed out some negative physical stuff as well as some negative behavior. i think overall that appearance for men and women is primary quality they seek in a mate. i think all too often both sexes let appearance sway them too much.

I'm 5'6". My "minimum" would be 5'10". But my max would be 6'3"-6'4".

I like to wear heels and still be shorter than my man.. yet I had a crush on a guy once that was 6'8" and that was waaaaaaaaaaay too tall. Hurt my neck.

And I like my men taller than me so I have a sense of protection when out with him. Just one of my prefrences. I'm sure we all have 'em.
