This is a very unusual way of finding your lost sibling.

We've all heard those heartwarming stories of twins who were separated at birth finding each other again later in life. Torn apart by circumstance and fate and unaware of the other's existence, they are understandably overjoyed to find that missing piece of themselves. Except in this case. These two "separated at birth" twins discovered their unique bond at the worst possible time. After they married each other.
A friend of mine married a woman that looks like his twin. I can't help but to feel weirded out when I see them together. They absolutely look like brother and sister. They couldn't be happier with each other.

The article says we are attracted to people who are like us. But marrying someone who looks way similar to one of your siblings is way weird. I won't get into the whole incestual part about it.
Something like that happened about oh ... 4 or 5 generations back in my family, if you believe the apocryphal history that has been passed down. Over in Switzerland, where my maternal line started, a couple had a son, then a few years later, a daughter. The daughter wasn't wanted and given up for adoption to a family in a distant village. Some 20 years pass, the siblings meet, and marry. It wasn't until they had five kids that they found out about their connection. One of those kids had a son who immigrated to America. It's said that he did that to escape the shame of his granparents' sin. 100-something years later, the story is more something to chuckle about than be ashamed. I mean, it's not something that any of us descendants can do anything about, but we kind of laugh whenever a new child is ready to be born and tell the parent to be sure to count fingers and toes when the kid gets here. Given the close inbreeding, it may come up with a few extra
Did any of you used to watch Dynasty back in the 80's? They had a scenario like this when Fallon got sexually involved with a guy named Adam - who turned out to be her long lost brother!
Anybody remember the cheesy comedy "My Chauffeur" back in the 80s? Didn't the long separated brother and sister get it on in that?
