Well, this is likely your problem. No happy, well-adjusted gay man is going to want to spend five minutes with someone who is desperate, insecure, and bitterly hates himself. The guys who *are* going to want to spend time with you are not going to have your best interests at heart, as I'm sure you've discovered.
You probably should take some time away from dating guys, but in order to develop some self-awareness (preferably with the help of a good therapist), not in a self-hating attempt to turn straight.

No it is not. Every counselor I've known was flippant and uncooperative when ever I brought up gay issues or any concerns period. Truly a pitiful and useless profession.
