I agree. One person can take the action to end a marriage, sure. But most often than not, the cause is something the other spouse shares in or has sole responsibility for. Someone can physically walk out of the marriage, but there is usually a reason for that. Even if it is the wrong one, even if they were mistaken in their assessment of the other's actions/inaction. But I don't think people just wake up one morning and say they're done.
