but yea it is going to be painful as hell. I'd be crying too if I had to pay 216 monthly payments of child support. I'd probably kill myself actually. Every man needs high standards, high limits and high respect for himself. If that respect for yourself is violated you have disgraced yourself. Rather be dead than be disgraced.

Don't get up, stay there for the next 18, 24 or 36 hours and wallow in feeling sorry for you (and your kids), but set a time when you will get up, excersize, shave, shower and get back into living your life and do it. You owe that to your kids and yourself!
You control your life, not vice versa
The present is a snapshot of your life. As someone above said (paraphrasing)' who knows what tomorrow, next year, 5 years, 10 years etc down the road has in store.'
I'm doing much better (understatement) now, Gaffer... still fairly drained and melancholy, but today was good to see my son. Won't see him or anyone for a week now. Got news for one of the best appellate attorneys in the state for divorces... that was good, but have no idea what it will cost... anything is better than what the judge socked me. Fifty-plus grand in atty fees all due to unproven hearsay and perjury... so, it is worth my while to pursue that course, not to mention this custody mess taking my son away from where he chose to live... in peace.
