It sounds lame...but I was alone in my office reading Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks...and there was a part....that I audibly gasped and started sobbing...I was SO glad I was alone!

First time I saw Portia DeRossi in person at an Emmy party.
After one of my Bulldog's epic room clearing farts.
When I saw a guy get shot.
Whenever Im a passenger in a car being driven by my wife.

Being chased and shot at. Hanging from a window several stories up by my finger tips. When I watched my best friend get shot in the back right in front of me. There were several related moments I've witnessed that caused me to take a deep breath.

I also hate to fly, so whenever we enter severe turbulence I take a deep breath and white knuckle the armrest.

Yes, I remember it like it was yesterday

I was in gym class during my high school years

The basketball game was close and ended in us loosing

My teammate was so angry from loosing that he got a running start and threw the basketball against the wall

Well, the ball came back and hit me right in the balls

I was on the ground in pain for a good 15 minutes

I grew up in NYC, most of my "adventures" took place in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan during the late 80's and early 90's. had several close calls in California too.

I watched my dog run full-speed down a steep, rocky hill and trip.... she landed right on her head, on a big rock.

I gasped aloud in front of the other dog owners at the park, terrified of a concussion or broken neck.

She shook it off and kept going! PHEW!
