Have you ever seen/experienced something that made you gasp out loud, either breathing in or breathing out? Aside from sex, exercise, a punch to the stomach, etc. Anything so beautiful, shocking, frightening, awe-inspiring, etc.?

Most definitely. When my first love sent me his class ring I used to wear over 30 years ago, I gasped when I opened it.

Well I recall several years back while waiting for my sons to get home from school, the neighborhood soccer moms were smoking like chimneys at the bus stop. Then one of the said are any of you going to the PTA smoke out walk and all of them said yes. I laughed so hard and loud that I ran out of breath and choked really hard. It was the funniest thing I had heard in a long time since these little women were far beyond stupid.

Why? And why were they far beyond stupid? When I was a smoker (I quit over 8 years ago) I used to participate in the 'smoke out' events, hoping it would get me to quit this time. As long as they're trying....

Oh yes - when I saw the pyramids; the first time I saw a whale dive; when I got my first glimpse of the Moreno Glacier - many, many times. I get very excited about beautiful things. Sometimes even a beautiful sunset seen from our windows can get a gasp out of me!
