A PARK near Amsterdam has unveiled information signs pointing out spots where officials say gay men are known to have sex so that no visitors are taken by surprise.
The signs “clearly indicate what is happening in each zone; also those where gay men are known to practise ‘cruising’,” municipal spokeswoman Manon Koffijberg said, The Australian reported.
That is just stupid. Instead of arresting gays for lewd activities they want to embarrass them in front of everyone. Their tactics are skewed. Whoever came up with that is just so twisted and homophobic, the city should ask for their resignation.

P.S. I am not gay, but I know better!
Um, aren't the gays embarrassing themselves by engaging in lewd activities publicly? Or are we all supposed to "tolerate" that because it's "the way they are?"
You would thank it would be public embarrassment for them, but it is not, they enjoy it.

So .... these signs, I wonder what they look like. Do they have stick figures in some uh.... poses?
Yeah, why is it that people are drawn to having sex in public restrooms or in the park? WTF??? The last place I want to be gettin' my freak on is in some nasty, filthy, dirty, skanky public restroom!!!
We used to live near a park where George Michael from Wham! had been busted a couple of times.
I don't think they'd be embarassed. They cruise openly in areas that are already known for these activities. At the one I know of, they don't do their business in open view but go into a secluded area. The police don't care, there is no crime in this park and the only problem is with homophobic groups who can't leave it alone. It is the only quiet peaceful park around, and these parent groups want to tear it apart and turn it into a noisy dirty playground.
"Homophobic?" So, does that mean that anyone who doesn't want straight couples engaging in similar activities publicly is "heterophobic?" If heterosexual couples do that sort of thing, they're arrested. And if men made strong advances toward women (or vice-versa) in particular public areas, they could be charged with sexual harassment or sexual assault.
Sorry, but if they want "equality," then they should start by changing their own behavior and following the decency standards that the rest of us are expected to obey. Sheesh, keep it in the bars and take it to motels like everyone else does!
