Yeah, that's just "uhm, wha'?". Just like any other place you can walk,crawl,run,drive,surf to that's considered a singles-ish hangout, don't think it won't be hit or miss on any type of person.
Online dating is no different than a bar/club in that respect.
Yeah but face to face you get a better indication of who/what you are dealing with.
No different if you have a important in depth business dealing, its more effective face to face or failing that a phone call.....much more effective than email or online writing only communication.
I was at a mall the other day and a lady befriended me. We just started cracking jokes and laughing about random stuff in the store. It was cool.
Yes I find women at the mall are usually in a relaxed mood and very easy to talk to and there are so many topics of conversation right at hand, from sales to food to work (if talking to store employees).

Very true....especially if you live in a bigger city where only 1 in every 25,000 ladies is very attractive while the rest are just blah. The obesity and overweight rate is also sky high.

I think they more easily pick you apart online as everything can be analyzed to a degree approaching absurdity from a male to female perspective. It does still have more of a stigma for women, they think they're desperate more often for doing it, or believe it to be not as safe as an initial public 30 blurb and phone # exchange for some reason. So the ratio is usually still pretty low.
All that said, I've had no problems really here when I've used it.
And frankly, this area has got a pretty low ratio of females to males, as Delaware is like Jersey, great to be from, but any that can get out, do so.
Just drive through, hiss, and make warding signs on your way through both to get to NYC.
This reminds me of the old joke about the guy sitting around shooting the breeze with a BMOC jock.
