Do you ever feel like picking your family up and moving somewhere far away? Do you ever feel like just having a fresh start? Not that things have to be bad either, just ready for a change?

I thought you meant: "Put me back in grade 8 and I won't mess up this time!"

I've said this and guess what? Others have said they dreamed of the same. I think there are times everyone wants to escape. Give someone an open road.......very tempting.

If I could move somewhere that we could get into a house right away and both of us could find employment quickly...I would go for that.

Right now with things the way they look economy-wise, I think we need to stay where we are presently.

Sometimes when you live in the same place all the time, there can be this tendency to become accustomed to conforming to others' expectations or definitions of where you fit in things... Whereas a fresh start in a new place with new people and new situations might lead to greater personal growth.

Whether it be a bad experience or a good experience, it definitely does add to greater personal growth, dgz which can do nothing but add to whatever life leads you. I have found that taking a risk of this kind (if you've done your research) usually turns out for the better. But then I've always found change to be good.
