Exactly. See people don't know that part, but the media and animal activists only show the public very inhumane crap on tv that is horrible. Most Hunters and Fisherman don't do this and for the ones that are cruel to animals should be lynched.

Thank you for mentioning All of the organizations that actually "TAKE CARE" of the beautiful land in your states and preserve the animals in their own natural habitat. If you don't eat meat, good for you...but what are you doing to help preseve the land they live on?

I hunt, fish and contribute to most of the organizations that mean something to me. Educate yourself on both sides to make sure you know what your talking about before bashing hunters, fishermen, etc.

Why is it a turn off? You afraid she'll have good aim when you try sneaking back into the house at 3am after a night of too many Fosters with your mates?

Really? So how are you any different than women who are turned off by hunters?

I'll just weigh in by saying I don't know how anyone can kill an animal just for the sport of it. However, I'd prefer a man who would be capable of killing for food if the situation demanded it, instead of some granola crunching weenie who'd let his family starve.
I should also say that I wouldn't be sitting on my porch waiting for the DH to drag a deer home. I'd be out there helping him, if we needed the food.

Ditto for me. I have no problem with hunting and I'm not a vegetarian. I just don't want to see it. Meat should be neatly packaged and wrapped at the grocery store or farmers market as nature intended. And even then the blood is skeeves me out occasionally.

You have to sit very quietly to deer hunt. Then they smell your breath. Two people double the odds of being detected. Once it is killed, there is PLENTLTY to do.
