Older people did not grow up with bathing a lot. Recently, my MIL came to visit and during the week that she was here she only took one shower. Older people are more used to "washing up" (as my mother calls it), where they will take a sponge bath in the evening before they go to bed. It really is almost the same thing as taking a bath. All of the important "parts" are washed and dried. So it's not like they are stinky.

She hangs the stanky washcloth she has been using for a week already.. no soap ,no powder, no scented anything... eau deau le stank.........Her parts are probably going to rot off soon if she doesnt use good hygiene!!SHE USES NO SOAP of any kind..................................brand new--and wears the nasty, clingy fitting polyester clothing from head to toe...it is sticking to her.

This is only funny BC it is not in my house- I feel for you. Maybe tuck Bounce dryer sheets in her clothing... I hope she won't be flying home. I pity the poor person who might have to sit next to her on the plane.
OMG...LOL.. I feel sorry for the poor bastad sitting next to her too..Wow, I never thought about that!!! hopefully the pilot will crank the air up on takeoff!!!!!!!!!
LMAO Twinkle and Sweet...reps to all of you. At least I can laugh now about it..Maybe a noseplug or clothespin???for the duration of her stay?
rofl.. slow but I dont think unstable... She claims her arm hurts and cannot do it...I told her I would get a rubber mat so she wouldnt slide...etc.. She is loud and obnoxious.....I said your son can help you in the shower/bath...She said no man is going to help me in the shower...I mean, she has dirty habits too...like clipping her nails in my car and having them fly all over the car....Omg...they don't sprout legs and walk lol..They fall to the ground and on the seat.............I think she is just backwards...very...backwards................ I got a whiff of her today and it was enough to send me over the edge..........
She doesn't wash her hands after she uses the bathroom either...
LOL That....
This doesn't make any sense. Does she NEVER bathe? What does she do at home? Frankly, I'd send her packing after 3 days. No way would I allow someone like that to stay in my house. I don't care WHOSE relative they are.

yes, she bathes maybe 1 time a week (think she told me that one time)and prefers her own tub. Omg...so if we let her stay a month? Hell, I don;t even want to go there LOL.... Ok, so I am not the only one that thinks this is revolting LMAO...
Hif==No she is dumb like a fox........in many areas.......Stubborn, backward and LOUD... She just doesn't care about manners or cleanliness.......now I really see the big picture. She visited us when we all lived locally but never overnight like now since we moved.......................She has poorest of poor hygiene...I cannot even eat in the same room or look at her if I am eating because I will gag...LOL.
Someone smack me upside the head if I stop bathing. OMG!! send me away or to a rubber room. I have never in my life went 10 days without showering/bathing. My couches will have to be dry cleaned LMAO.
NOT TO GROSS PEOPLE OUT but--------She is a LARGE woman with rolls for arms and she has pockets of folds of fat that just reek....................... ovay!
NJ, I feel for ya! I couldn't put up with that. We went to my MIL's house in San Francisco this past weekend (Thur-Sun) and she served the same hors d'oeuvres for three days in a row. What's worse - she left them out on the table - and some of them were salami and cheese! I didn't eat any of the stuff, nor did anybody else. My husband took a bite of something and spit it out. There's no telling how old those hors d'oeuvres were BEFORE we even got there! They could be months old!!!
What is it with old people?
