If they are married/involved, yes. Just like anybody else.

I was a bartender for quite some time and would never have noticed a number on the bottom of the tab as something special. I woulda thought they thought they needed it for the CC to go thru or something. I always write...Thank You! Sophia atthe bottom of thecheck so woulda just thought they were thanking me back and not noticedthe number at all.

Go back.

But no, I'm much too chicken to go back and directly make a pass at him. Heck, I may never even eat there again! LOL
Maybe he didn't want to come off like a stalker seeking you out on Facebook uninvited. He's not going to gamble the odds, especially when you know where he works and if he's wrong, he may have to risk getting in trouble. Not all waiters ring you up either, so if he isn't the one handling the register, he may not have even given your name and number a second thought.

Oh crap! I really don't mind stalkers though (as long as they're cute). And the credit card slip was so small...there was barely room to write anything on it. He should have just realized that if I went through all that effort to fit "Thanks, Mike!", a smiley face, and my phone number on it that is was definitely a come on. But fine! I'll just accept the fact that I sabotaged my one and only attempt at picking up a waiter.
