When you hear of a certain name - what image do you get with it?

Like say, have you met a certain name that seemed to be more sleazy in person, each time you ran into it?

Do you associate a certain name to ugly men or women when you hear of it?

How about names you associate with hot women or men?

In the poll above, what name do you feel most attracted to?

Tiffany....every Tiffany I have known was a huge skank....the name Sam makes me quiver...the name Dustin makes me gag...and anyone who has a first name as a last name can not be trusted.

I went for the Gage/Trey/Shea option. I like unique names, too!

Every Avery I've ever met has had red hair and has been the spawn of satan.

I think it would reflect more a persons history than the name itself. There are a few names that elicit some rather pleasant memories.

But then there is the anomaly of the fact that hundreds and hundreds of killers and serial killers have the middle name Wayne.

I think a lot of men like the name Shoshanna. I get flirted with a lot when they hear my name. Personally, I don't care much about names with a few exceptions.

Note to self. Do not date anyone with the middle name Wayne

I tend to prefer guys with simple, boring, common names. So far, I've dated Mike, Bob, Tom... you get the idea. I think only a couple boyfriends had more than one syllable in their first name (of course, all used the shortened version of their name - Tom instead of Thomas, for example). I don't know that there's a reason for it, just coincidence I suppose. That's not to say I couldn't meet a really great guy called Madhusudhana Chancellor Faustus, you never know.
