With the New Year on the horizon, which news story do you think is the biggest of the year? I was watching the news and they are getting their shows ready...I guess it will be Michael Jackson dying....not sure...not sure why I care either...

That would be my guess, too.

Yanno....I love the cold for a couple of days. Like on a ski trip...or a visit. But I just don't think I could stand living somewhere that got that cold every winter. Nope...couldn't do it.

I know you love shorts, why can't you wear sweat pants or track pants home afterwards? It's probably not so good to go from heat to extreme cold. I hope you feel better now.

I think I am going to be able to get an H1N1 shot today, due to the fact that I fall in one of the high risk groups (I have asthma). I hope they have the shots still when I get there this afternoon.

Would it be Madoff being sentenced, maybe? I grew up with Michael Jackson and I listened to his music, and I'm sad he died. But I would hope they wouldn't push on us that he's the story of the year.

Yes, it was bearable until December. My goodness, all hells broke loose in December

I have vital events planned for January, if this cold still persists I might as well plan for indoor activities

The shots are running out FAST. Get it faster

I must buy sweat pants ASAP, I never invested money in them, but this is getting out of control.

Personally couldn't handle that kind of cold weather. Our real cold weather isn't till the end of Dec, Jan & Feb, at that a loss of months, unless your a snow baby, snowed 3 times last year, ppl go nuts in the super markets like there wont be food for a month.

I just moved from WI to PA a couple of months ago and we just got our first taste of winter a couple of days ago. I can say that the whole "OMG, hurry up and stock up" mentality is alive and well here, too.

And don't even get me started on the driving. I was behind someone who must've thought every little puddle on the road was an ice patch. DRIVE people...DRIVE!
