hmmm. Here, during hurricane warnings, first order of business is the ATM. Second is gas stations, filling up the car and then tanks for generators. Also propane for grills. Then, without fail, long lines at the liquor stores. The Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc will feed us and give us water. Nobody brings us beer and wine.
They aren't prepared here for heavy snow, I can remember twice we've gotten 20 or more inches of snow where they call a state of emergency,
everything closes and totally house bound........
Not quite as bad as wondering if you'll have house after a hurricane.
I don't even have a proper jacket. Just got a couple of hoodies.
Gotta love that So Cal weather.
Now, If we could just get rid of the traffic,high crime, earthquakes, over-priced real estate, under-performing schools, rampant illegal immigration, crappy leadership, over-taxation.

Yeah, other than wild fires in the mountains, we don't have any other natural disasters. Of course, that was before the government started "declaring" weather... The weather will be anybody's guess from now on...
