Do they give a happy ending when you're done working out.
They should hold a party for that much! But, this Y has everything...from pools, classes, to a huge gym. The place is enormous (imo and compared to what I'm used to). They also have day care...key! This past Halloween, when I was getting last minute candy at the supermarket across from the Y, I saw parents and kids lining up for a Halloween party. The place is great.
OTOH, people easily pay >$1200/yr for health clubs in Cambridge/Boston.

Yea I was at the Y around my area over the summer. They had a summer special so it was cheap.. The steam room/hot tub that they had was GREAT!!
Now I found a gym down the street for only 27 bucks a month, they don't have the hot tub and so forth, but that's ok, I will just stick with my Epsom salt baths here in my apartment.

lol me too! Although, a bummer for me is that water aerobics/work outs would probably be ideal while pregnant (FSM willing). Well, that's what I hear from one of my colleagues at work at least. Whatever, I'll make due and take it easy. I just need to get back into the gym. I've given up on any resolve to work out at home. I have none...I blame this place lol.
1. Find a job.
2. Start working out again (mostly to firm anything that jiggles that I'd rather not jiggle).
3. Finally get pass this annoying obstacle that's been standing between me and graduation. *I will defeat you!*
4. Finish one of my novels I've been working on.
5. Move back to Houston.
Not trying to be rude but it's funny that people make New Year's Resolutions they know they aren't going to keep. Losing weight/getting in shape, becoming a better person seem to be the top two. I don't do resolutions simply because I'm constantly working on myself year round.
I've actually given up on the idea of New Year's resolutions. I figure I can do this any day of the year. But kudos to those who do and stick by them. I have a few years worth of stuff I haven't gotten to yet.
