Sounds like you're on track, too! I found a very cheap online service I've been using for a few years, though. And they e-file both returns and do direct deposits in case of a refund.

I can even do it by hand, but it's not worth it - these guys charge $13 for the whole software and e-filing both. The federal is supposedly free and you pay for the state.
