He was upfront and said "no marriage, no kids", which according to exhaustive linguistic research conducted by myself and my most esteemed colleagues in the social sciences, translates to "no marriage, no kids" . To the T.
The problem is that your summation of events isn't accurate. He said "no marriage, no kids." What he meant was "no marriage, no kids with you. But I hope you'll be a good sport enough to live with these terms till I find a woman for whom marriage and kids is doable."
I note others feel that this guy should be involved with his son. I am still trying to contemplate why.
Well that's great. Good to see that you choose a woman who feels the same way and talk with women before jumping into bed with them. Hopefully your both using protection since you both are adament about not wanting to get pregnant.

I think it was this comment that most are reacting to, miu - little different than the woman choosing to have an abortion.

Then it's too bad you weren't born a woman, because only a woman can decide whether to have an abortion or not. Your opinion, legally, has nothing to do with it.
