I'm 44, my boyfriend is 49 - neither of us married or had kids. We've had lives full of things that people with kids simply never get to experience. We love foreign travel, spontaneous weekend trips, volunteer work, spontaneous sex, having money, having time to garden/read/relax, spontaneous evenings out. We just never found birth control all that tricky.
This might be a weird question, but how were your parents about this?? One of my main concerns is that my folks are going to be shattered if I don't want to have kids. I KNOW it's my life but I don't want to hurt them after how good they were/are to me either!
Im happily single. I date everyonce and a while, but Ive never really wanted to be married and have kids. If it happened, so be it.
