I am a woman who has watched A LOT of porn and honestly, I think the majority of pornstars are NOT good looking and not better looking than the average woman. Pornstars after all are nothing but just AVERAGE WOMEN who decided to get into porn. A lot of them are quite average sized and average looking. The trend in porn is now bigger women, since everyone is so obsessed with big butts these days, the girls that have these big booties are heavier.
I'm not in porn (just a normal average woman), I'm in my 30's and I'm a size 00. I see lots of women in porn with stretchmarks, scars, etc. But then again I am very critical when it comes to appearances.
To me attractive is Victoria Secret models. Or Playboy models. Porn girls are just average looking.

As someone who watched his share of pornography as a much younger man, I'll bite...
I think what onglet meant was that women in porn films are often made-up, had their hair done, etc. That makes them look better. And many within this industry have had implants, lifts, etc.
That doesn't mean there aren't "uglies" in porn. I saw some women in such films that I found completely unattractive, at least face-wise, even if they had decent or even knockout bodies.
Since my husband had hair restoration and a nose job before we met, I didn't know a difference in his appearance. I thought he was the most handsome man on the planet when I laid eyes on him the very first time. He has mentioned that he wants to redo his hair and I have been very supportive of that. I know it's a sensitive topic for men especially. My guess is that he isn't feeling god about himself lately since he has noticed his hair falling out. I would think if he gets it redone, he would feel better about himself thus having an affect on the relationship as a whole.
I was never a plastic surgery kind of girl but then again, I never thought I would hit 40 either. When we are young, we think we will look like that forever. I would like to give the old ladies a bit of a boost. No porno boobs... just saline. My husband's already long standing comments on women's boobs have always mystified me. Mainly because they are negative comments. Yet, he claims he likes boobs "rather large" and makes the Bentley comment to me instead. I think it's all BS.

Well, I'm sure you've seen the cases where the wife has some work done. Starts looking good and not only her boob size swells but her head also. She starts thinking she could do better since she is garnishing much more attention from men and problems start.
Not saying this will happen in your case but....it happens. Maybe this is his fear?

But most women are also always made up and have their hair done. I NEVER leave my house unless I have my hair and makeup done. Not even to the grocery store or the post office. I bet I am more high maintenance than most pornstars.

I don't know where you live but I live in Orange County and when I go shopping, at South Coast plaza for example, most women I see there look more glamorous and sexier than pornstars and a very large majority DO have implants and have had cosmetic surgeries. It's extremely common where I live. I see people dressed up to the 9's wearing couture straight off the runway sometimes there. Hair done, makeup done etc. The works.
