I think chemistry is what's behind the sex. If both people have a low libido, then it's not so much of a problem because neither feels frustrated from lack of sex of pressured to have it when they aren't in the mood. Many people with a naturally low libido will have an increase at the beginning of the relationship and things seem great for a while. Then they gradually revert back to their natural state. If the other has a higher libido, that's when the problem begins.
