Ever been to or lived in Alaska? That's where I grew up. No longer live there but you'd fit right in.
No not yet, but i would like to. Been to 41 states so far. One reason is there are no maple sugar trees, as I understand it, and i simply can not live with out sugarin. The act of sugarin is in my blood, the fire in the rig and the sweet smoke, not to mention the end product.
Another reason is that if I ever got on the back side of the Brooks, no one would hear or see of me again, and I have a wife, son and a grand son..
Since i am only 58 and active, i plan to take my grand son bar huntin, maybe when he's 8.
NH I hear can be a lot like Ak.. In winter I like hiking in thr Residential Range,,,,,,,, still. I would attend Frozen Toe evens but no one is left. That is winter camping with no modern gear what so ever.

Sorry guy, but you are old now. Your looks have faded severely. Your personality isn't good or clever enough to attract young women, and you don't have enough money to attract a young gold digger. You can't even pull a hot 35 year old, and yet you are chasing teens?
What is it that you don't get exactly? If you can't date what you want, what you want is out of your league. It's as simple as that.
Hey it happens to us all. What I want on paper I can't have either. I'd like to be with a man who is around my age, makes a tad more money than me, doesn't have kids and is physically fit. Guess what, those guys can do better than me and such is life! So I either have to be alone and wait until the end or time or I get lucky, or adjust my requirements.

I don't see a thing off about Galagaone, if he was a biker I'ld even ride WITH him, If he was a skinner he would be welcome in my camp, just pull up a stump, and crack the jug.

One piegon hole I fit is that of a loose term called Buck Skinner, which is a sort of 1805 to 1840 American Fur Trapper of right now. For all my life i lived in the woods, mostly alone as a child.
In the early 70's i became interested in black powder, and that substance lead me down a different path, into geology, ancient wood land skills, other cultures, and a lot of How To, since you can't buy the items i am interested in at walley world.
Last time i checked you can't buy a high carbon tool steel belt knife at walley world, so that is another item I had no choice but to learn How To, and right down to the heat treatings.
A rarer few are allergic to pine, but you seem unsure. and so could this be white cedar? A lot of people are allergic to white and red cedar, juniper too, and if you are there is no point keeping that furnishing.
What is the finish? Is it oil based linseed oil? Is it oil or water based poly? Is it another oil? Danish, Tung?

I'm 51, successful. I wear the same size jeans I wore when I was 19 (size 34). I have my own business and 2 ncie homes that are paid off. I don't smoke, gamble, go to bars or do drugs. If I drink 2 glasses of merlot a week it's a lot. I like the outdoors and being active. Yet, I can't meet women, I'm attracted to, to save my life.
I get positive reactions from women in my travels. I think I look a lot better in person than this pic. I've been out of dating and relationships for 5 years. It's harder now to break the ice than ever. Either they're on the cell phone, engaged in some other distraction or with a companion. I think most of them think I must have someone, so they don't bother.
Maybe part of the problem is I live in one state for 6 months and another, 1200 miles away the other 6. I didn't think this would be an obstacle. I rather thought it might enhance my options. Seems like the women in Fl think I have someone here and verse vicea... Can't win I guess. And online dating seems like scraping the bottom of the ocean..
Is it that big a deal that I migrate. I don't see why a great chemistry couldn't end up with both of us being migrators..
Most women in your age group are so incredibly caught up in the whole "family" scenario that they do not even realize that anyone else exists. What you need to do is break into a group of people who have many different interests.
Let's take art as an example. Does either of the places you live in have an art museum? They have organizational meetings, board meetings, artists receptions, and you can volunteer to be a docent or just work in the museum. The same could be true of the symphony, the opera, or a local community theater in your area.
Maybe you aren't interested in the arts. There are many other options. Education for instance. You could volunteer to work in an adult educational setting. Since you are a successful businessman, perhaps you could teach some business courses at your local night school. Where I live, our local vocational college teaches non-credit personal betterment classes which include business-related courses. You don't make much money, but you do meet people. Perhaps you could take a few classes yourself. A cooking class perhaps or genealogy - these are topics of interest to women.
You like the outdoors? Perhaps you can join a group of like-minded souls who enjoy the outdoors and go on group hikes, horseback rides, or similar. Check out your local YMCA for a schedule of events. Or, contact your nearest outfitter and find out if there is anything planned. If not - consider putting something together yourself.
Finally, do not discount bars and casinos! LOL People in your age group (my age group) grew up enjoying the bar culture before television sets and punks ruined it. I would seek out the local watering hole that folks our age frequent. Don't think that you will necessary meet the love of your life there, but some guy that you might befriend there might have a sister or a cousin or a lady that he works with that would be perfect for you.
I don't think that living in two places should make much difference. After all, for the right woman, wouldn't you stick around?

I wouldn't want a man who could be controlled by someone, but I wouldn't want one who went around inferring women of a certain age smell either.
20 Years, i tried to rep you for that. Lots of good suggestions. Twice i worked with DARE and for kids in grade school and the women there hung around to watch. I was doing woodland crafts.
This lead to the same course and it ended up all female adults, and we made the same drums of quaking aspen, and real deer raw hide as was done with the kids, except this time the adults could use swiss wood chisels, with somewhat less supervision.
Most of the time I have no idea when a gal is into me, but in that class several were not letting any signals be missed. Alas i was as maried then as i am now, so not a thing became of it. Strickly a native style woodland drum for each was the only produce.
I wouldn't want a man who could be controlled by someone, but I wouldn't want one who went around inferring women of a certain age smell either.
LOL, I must have missed that one... I do recall my grandmothers clothing had a peculiar smell though, and what ever it was in her hair was simply vicious. To get that out of my head as a wee lad i had to ride my pedal bike to the local town garage and hang around the tar pit.
And her kisses were wildly misplaced and super wet, What is it you ol grannies, and that mucky swamp face kissing thing anyway?
I been licked by neater dogs than my grannie use to pull off. Just stop that!
Grow some hair. The bald look is old. Not cool anymore. The only bald guys are MMA wanna-be's who think they look tough. Women love to run their fingers through hair.
