It is gained by experience. You can read all kinds of books, go to college and get a degree in whatever field of study yet without the experience, you have gained nothing. It will never be your truth unless you put it into action. You can watch 1000 people go through the same thing in life yet it cannot be yours until you do the same thing. You won't know how it feels to laugh, cry, be humble, anger or hate until you experience all of those no matter how many times you read or see it. Experience is your answer.
Experience doesn't necessarily always correlate with time. Some people "live more" in a shorter period of time whereas other people live a long time doing the same thing. Then it also requires reflecting on one's experiences and learning from them so we don't just end up making the same mistakes over and over again and ending back up at square one. And everyone matures at a different rate and more in certain areas and less in other areas.

the sooner one learns this^the more of life's ground one is able to cover.

You still haven't said what it is that YOU mean when you ask about normal life knowledge, and ptsum asked how old you are. Without this info, all answers are based on speculation as to what you mean.
I am 31. I want the normal life knowledge that everybody else has.
