Saddam was a mentally ill loon much like Gaddafi in Libya is today. He was on his way out, and would likely have been overthrown by Iraqi's by now if we had not taken him out.

Saddam was not an Islamic leader, he was just Iraq's thug, and to liken him to their god is absurd and if anything is an insult to your intelligence.

The U.S. military followed the orders that came from Heaven. That makes them Heavens army. Hoorah.

Good grief, as if I needed more confirmation that some believers are nothing but trouble makers. Heavens army indeed.

Sadam is the face of Islam.

It's rather worrying that such people have the power to affect all or futures by being able to vote. Although, based on Ball Pean's posts, he probably won't be old enough to vote for some time to come.

Think about it. If the US military acted out because of a command originated from Heaven(Bush's command from God), that makes them Heaven's army just by default. Through Bush, They acted out because of a voice of God from Heaven. They are henceforth knighted as the army of Heaven.

The 'Army of Heaven' that you're so intently promoting has quite a lot to answer for:

Troops in Iraq - Total 47,000 U.S. troops. All other nations have withdrawn their troops.

U.S. Troop Casualties - 4,444 US troops; 98% male. 91% non-officers; 82% active duty, 11% National Guard; 74% Caucasian, 9% African-American, 11% Latino. 19% killed by non-hostile causes. 54% of US casualties were under 25 years old. 72% were from the US Army

US Troops Wounded - 32,051, 20% of which are serious brain or spinal injuries. (Total excludes psychological injuries.)

US Troops with Serious Mental Health Problems - 30% of US troops develop serious mental health problems within 3 to 4 months of returning home.

A UN issued report dated Sept 20, 2006 stating that Iraqi civilian casualties have been significantly under-reported. Casualties are reported at 50,000 to over 100,000, but may be much higher. Some informed estimates place Iraqi civilian casualities at over 600,000.
(emphasis added)

And finally, some statistics on the Coalition presence in Iraq:

Iraqis "strongly opposed to presence of coalition troops - 82%

Iraqis who believe Coalition forces are responsible for any improvement in security - less than 1%

Iraqis who feel less secure because of the occupation - 67%
Iraqis who do not have confidence in multi-national forces - 72%

(Source: Iraq War Facts, Statistics at March 31, 2011 - Iraq War Casualties, Spending)

Heaven's Army? With statistics like these, it's as if they're fighting for the Other Guy.

Oh yeah, I have to agree with this one.

edit -- checking over the other posts, o.k. I'm done here. Thanks for appreciating our President, we can pretty up his history and hope and pray his presidency doesn't completely disgrace our children, and their children's children.
