This is not a loaded question, I am genuinely interested in your responses. What verifiable, historical evidence is there in support of Christianity being the true religion while others are not??? What evidence is there against other religions as being false?
If you could either explain your answers here or provide a link source, I would appreciate it. Please do not quote me verses out of the Bible, I don't consider that as evidence, unless it can be backed up with historical and objective fact.
I'm not asking you to prove that there is a God or anything like that, I am only asking you to show why you believe Christianity to be true, and other religions to be false.
I think proving Christianity would require proving "God" exists.. and further, proving the Christian god specifically. No one has that, and no one has proof that their religion is "the one true" religion. That's why Christianity is so big on faith.

I am a Christian, but I do not hold my beliefs to be the only true religion. God is too big to belong to one name or way of theology.
If you look at different religions many of them consist of the same common themes under different names.
Simple answer....An accident of birth....It is the one he was raised in and programmed to believe. If he was born in India, he would likely be a Hindu.

That really has to be the logical answer - that the religion has historical verification. But in fact the real reason why Christians think it is the 'real' faith is Theo's - they just believe it is.
