totally agree.one's belief is influenced by his/her family, culture and experience.when your go to college, maybe you will not be given the opportunity to go though every major and then decide which one you'll take.same thing when it comes to religion. The question could only be anwsered when individuals have the opportunity to FEEL different religions, read their theory ,think and compare and finally come to one's own conclusion then he will know "what is the right religion to him."kind of a lot of work though
I know because we have removed pagan (world originated) doctrine and practice from our worship, restoring it to the first century Christian belief and practice. (James 1:27 / Jh 15:19)
I know because the Bible is what we base our every single belief on and we use the Bible constantly to explain our beliefs and to teach. (2Pet 1:19 / 2Tim 3:16-17 / Jh 17:17)
I know because our conduct is exemplary. (Rom 12:2 / Col 3:5-10)
I know because there exists real love amongst ourselves, we refuse to war against one another. (Jh 13:34-35 / 1Jh 4:20-21 / 1Jh 3:10-12)
I know because there is no division among us, no matter where we are in the world we all believe and live in the same way. (Eph 4:1-6 / 1Cor 1:10-13)
I could go on and on but I'll spare you. I think these are the most important ones that make me know.
Gosh...tell me what church do you go to .... or maybe not... I believe in churches with real people wiht real struggles...you know...filled with with disgusting people who have a longing for God in their life.
My friend.... what you say is the way we are meant to be ...but you dont stop being human once you become a christian. The bar with which they measure you does go higher tho and, God have mercy if you fall..... cause for the rest of the world...there is no mercy for you it seems....
I think about 95% of the world population believes in some form of a higher being. I myself believe in God.
My question for you is, how do you know your religion is the right religion? With so many religions out there, how do you know yours is right?
Also, have you ever doubted your religion?
No mean to cause any controversy. I just want to hear people's opinions about this subject.
I know my religion is the right religion because everything makes sense. Not that other religions don't, I just have a feeling in my heart that it is the right religion.
Many of "us Christians" still do believe in Santa Claus Trooper!
Considering that some of us see the "spirit" of Santa alive in every caring parent who gives their child a gift, every person who gives to another without expecting anything in return, in the smile or greeting a stranger gives to another due to the holidays... this is the Christmas Spirit... I call it Santa.
Whether billions scoff at my belief of Jesus and God, it truly does not matter to my salvation. I will still wish for all non-believers to have: peace, happiness, good-will, and a bigger wish, that they shall find the love of God through Jesus, whether they think he's a fairy tale or not!
As long as you don't try to foist it on anyone else, that's perfectly fine, and the way it should be.
