By attributing our accomplishments to a (most likely non-existent) god, it cheapens and insults centuries of human scientific, rational, and philosophical advances.
If you believe in God and his creation, then all things come from God. BUT, that point of view implies that all you have to do is sit back on your behind, pray and God will get you everything you need.
Most of what we have may be part of God's creation, but we have it because we worked for it. God didn't create it just for us to have without labor.
I think we are responsible for our lives, food, clothing, way of living and even our education and how many children we want.. That is what choice is all about. Our life choices are from God, we either make good choices or bad choices. Bottom line is that God is always there to help us make decisions if we humble ourselves to ask

Let's see, Bill Gates, George Soros, and Warren Buffet have done very well making decisions without looking towards god, dracula, thor, etc. I see no evidence that god helps one make good decisions.

And the evidence against this is in the lives of non-believers who are fully happy and content.
The clothes we wear ,the food we eat and the abilties we have etc, isn't it all from God ?
I believe that our Creator gives us the ability to get what we need, (clothes, food, etc). In other words, we pull ourselves up by our bootstraps. He may give us those bootstraps, and the strength and ability to pull, but he dang sure expects us to put some effort into it! All the praying in world won't help, if we don't get off of our backsides and do something for ourselves.
