So what is "before"? That could mean sperm. I bet a whole lot of guys would be up on murder charges if you changed it to that.
It means that God exists outside of time and space and can see the end of all things. He knows that we will be born before even our parents are born. He knew us from before the beginning of time. He knows what decisions we will make in our lives and which of us will choose to obey Him. And which will not.
In my opinion, people who want to make abortion illegal, yet make exceptions for women or girls who were raped (ie didn't choose to have sex), are basically just wanting to 'punish' women for having sex.

Yet this god gets all angry and vengeful and condemns people to burn in hell for eternity when they don't 'choose to obey him' or believe in him. Rather sadistic creating them in the first place if he already knew they weren't going to 'choose to obey him' before they were even born -don't you think?
And what does that say about the concept of 'free-will'?
