We fear the unknown. I fear living forever in the same body far more that I fear death, whatever it entails. Death is a safety feature. Imagine being in prison for 489 years unable to die. I trust the Gods of nature to know best.

Nah, no fear of death, now or ever.

Death is a new beginning into the spirit world where we will be recognized not only by those living spirits, our dearly departed family and friends. Talked to one of those departed spirits many, many years ago. No, I was not dreaming either but was wide awake and just going to bed as I had to work early the next day. She was no departed relative of mine nor even a has been friend. When I turned on the light she was standing with her back to the wall at the head of the bed. She wore a two-piece, blue suite and not a single hair on her head was out of place. She spoke first and here were her words, " What are you doing in my bedroom"? There was no sound to her words,as they were spoken within my mind. And only my words could be heard as I replied, "You do not live here anymore". And with that she simply vanished. Is there life after death? Yes, That Spirit Lady was more alive than lots of people in the flesh that I know.

Lovely! You have just demonstrated the illogic of the 'fate' myth.
