God apparently is gender neutral but not necessarily 100% as Jesus came in God's image making it perhaps safe to say in
His image but there is a distant connotation with Hebrew origins that casts an female image within the triune Godhead Ruach Ha'Kodesh (breath, wind, Holy Spirit) with a female link. A completion of the family perhaps? Father Son and mother? For now the Hebrew to Greek to English carry over with a HE rather than SHE is the most popular usage but
then "man" may not have "got" this?
There was the time when He went around in his Holy Ghost image and got a certain young, innocent girl pregnant so he could have a Son. Never mind that she was engaged to marry another man. That didn't seem to bother Him. So what does that say about gender?
Yes the Bible says that God is by nature a spirit, and not male or female by nature, at least the way we understand the concept. However, it is quite right to call God Male, since He self identifies Himself as Father and Son. We also know that Jesus is the Son of God, and took on MALE human flesh. Therefore it is also correct to call him the God/Man. This should be simple to anyone who can read the Bible and believes it.
Note also in Jesus parables Jesus refers to himself as the Bridegroom, a strict male concept. The church is the bride, a female concept.
To make it even more clear for some, Jesus is a man. Jesus is God. Therefore it is right to say God is a man.

The other option is Jesus(as) is male for the Simple reason he is NOT the "Son of God" nor "God" He is a MAN Born of a virgin. A Miracle but not the most miraculous birth.
Adam(PBUH) was a somewhat more miraculous birth as he had neither mother nor father.
