Scripture uses a male pronoun in reference to him. Jesus, who is God, is male.

Another vote for neither male nor female. More often than not, the "he" is used unless female is known for sure. Kind of like in the olden days when I learned to type business letters: Dear Sir

Is love female or male? Are relationships male or female?

People are just not grasping that these pieces were written during and under a VERY PATRIARCHAL society that would never, in a million years, have deified a woman.

Period.

That's why the god(s) are "He."

That's it, that's the explanation.

Jesus, called Him Father. Does father mean he or she. God Himself said, There is only one God, and I am He. Stop asking stupid questions and read the Bible.

No questions are stupid.

What is really stupid, is thinking the bible holds all the answers.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to read the Bible after being ridiculed, apparently by a Christian, and told they're asking "stupid" questions.

Hopefully you're just here to stir the pot.
