The Countries That Watch the Most Porn Aren't the Ones You'd Expect - Mic

Excerpt:
"The common trend between the conservative South and the highly censored Muslim world raises the question of whether forbidden fruit really does taste sweeter."

Oh, and gay porn? Also most watched in the south.

Wonder what that tells us about the religious?

If salvation is a concern, only Christianity saves.

If salvation is out of concern, one doesn't need a religion at all. Just pick any religion or no religion, live your life span then it's all done.

says nothing.

Where there is people there is porn. Well, a lot of people. Being surprised is like being surprised there is food where you find people. What does that say about food?

Really?

How many cults rail against food? You don't find it hypocritical that the areas that are arguably most religious are also the ones that are using porn the most, especially gay porn?

It says that there is a difference between claiming to be an adherent of a religion and actually believing. It also says that being a Christian does not remove any temptation to sin.

So from that perspective, it would be much better if most of the United States were atheists right? After all most of the porn sinning seems to be going on in the areas that are most Christian.

I wonder what that tells you?

I wonder if meat sells more in vegetarian-proclamation majority areas. And is porn really a "Biblical" sin?

If it is on the internet it must be true!

The US did not even make the top ten.

Excerpt:

"According to a 2014 Pornhub study, "every single state in the South watches porn at a higher percentage than the average of states where gay marriage is legal."

Would that include North and South Carolina and Virginia?

Bin Laden had a bunch of porn in his house when they found him, didn't he?

In the South you often have more poverty, less things to do outside of the house in small rural towns, less education, etc., so people stay home and watch porn more often.

That is not to say that wealthy, well educated, non religious people from big cities don't watch porn. The kind of porn they enjoy tends to be different though. The religion forum is probably not the best place for me to go into details about this, haha.

Also black men for some reason don't watch as much porn as white men.
