Man was created on the 6th day . Man is to labor only 6 days. 666 is the mark of a man to come antichrist. 7 appears hundreds of times and is the key to understanding God as He uses numerology to guide His believers. As we enter the "signs" "signs" and pangs that gradually usher end-times ( not the end of earth ) albeit a series or chronological steps of Gods judgment on earths inhabitants.who systematically fall away from Him. ( bad choices). 7 appears 735 times ( funny God never uses duhhhh) and 54 times alone in Revelations!!! Most recently within the "signs" clues to judgment on both nations and America specifically we uncover the 7 year Shemitah and its corresponding Harbingers seemingly concentration on financial instability. ( 2008 crash = -777 billion, 7% in the 7th year from 2001) Anyway, I simply recommend my fellow posters to mingle in the number 7 especially in study to "get " God !!!
I was taught, rightly or wrongly, that in the scriptures, 7 is a number referring to completeness / wholeness / maturity / self sufficiently, hence it tends to be identified with god. And yes, the whole 6 = humans thing, and stuff I no longer remember about 3 and other numbers.
I suspect it's at least half true because numbers have symbolic meanings that have evolved in human societies for various reasons. In ancient times a combination of ignorance and tradition guaranteed that certain numbers and patterns were regarded as portentous and meaningful when there was nothing inherently significant about them. Why not; there was no other explanation available for a lot of things that went on, and believing you see significance and patterns helps you feel more in control of things.
In more recent times, part of this also was encouraged, ironically, by the way science from the time of Newton until the early 20th century tended to see the universe as mechanistic and deterministic -- something that, as it turned out, wasn't really true except at certain scales and in certain contexts, which is to say, not at all really. Theists were only too happy to latch onto the parts of science that tended to confirm their beliefs, which was great until scientific consensus changed due to new facts coming into evidence.
And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made.
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that YHVH God made earth and heaven.

The number of a man--666---number is key, it is not calling it a man
in the numbers of a man( men)-7 = complete-- 6 falls short of complete= incomplete
There are 3 things sitting in the power positions on earth, ruling over mankind, each promising a better way of life, a better future--all 3 receive a 6--they are incomplete( in comparison to the promises that Gods kingdom is all about, it gets a 7) and their words are not truth.
1) govts-6
2) false religions-6
3) the commercial system-6
All seek $$$$$$$$$, and power positions--all lose those positions by the will or arrival of Gods kingdom--they do not want that.
