Whose canon (e.g. Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Ethiopian) enjoys the best evidentiary support? E.g. internal and external attestation.

Is there a particular book, or set of books you're questioning?

If this is about the apocrypha, they've never been considered inspired. They were not included in the Septuagint, and the Jewish people did not conisder them Scripture. The Church Fathers didn't consider them to be Scripture. It wasn't until many years later that they got added to the canon.

My denomination obviously uses the right canon. Anyone who uses a different canon is obviously wrong.

Yep, or

E. Personal Opinion

Phrasing the question along the lines of "What do you consider the pros and cons of the different types of evidentiary support found in ..." might generate more of a discussion. This, of course, assumes one is interested in learning via discussion instead of promoting an agenda.

What kind of ice cream is the best? That's a good personal opinion question.

Prove there is a heaven to get to.

And what the requirements are for entry.

Explain it without reference to scripture.

When I read this response, I had a laugh because I thought Trout was making a joke.

At the time, he was the last person to have commented on the thread and I mistakenly thought he wrote this, clearly as a joke coming from him, until I realized his name was below the comment.
