If God want;s us to know something more than what we are born to know why dosn't he just say it and save us all the agony?

He does. We choose to not listen.

Free will, died on the cross, isn't a micro manager... so on and so forth.

you'll never break the hierarchy of "reasons"...

not true, I listen... He tells me that he doesn't want me to go to church, he doesn't want me to convert others. He doesn't want me to eat vegetables or go to work...

I have heard that some people listen and god tells them to kill others. He tells some people that he wants the US to go to war with other countries...

I guess some of us hear different things.

Certainly more so than hearing all this second hand "interpretation" from those who in fact are merely trying to promote themselves as important.

Because God does not exist in the form CREATED BY MAN as described in the Bible. I like you, I also believe that if this God, as described in the Bible who did all of the talking, coming down from the Heaven having conversations and revelations with those so-called prohets, was around still around..wouldn't he stilll be communicating in the same way? I find it quite interesting how all of the sudden God, as described in the Bible was doing all of this "talking with man" then all of a sudden stopped, went back to heaven and cut off the personal visits to man. I also find it interesting how, according to Bible believers, God decided to put his words or communication with man in an ancient Book which as been corrupted, re-written and filled with proven lies and contridictions...that sells for around $59.99 in book stores.

Bottom line for me....this Bible is man-made book about God...filled with stories, myths and legends.
